Zapier is a workflow automation service. A Zap is a trigger in one app followed by actions in others, for example a new form entry creating a task and a message. The vendor now describes the product as AI orchestration: Zaps sit beside Tables for data, Forms, Agents and an MCP server that lets AI tools act in connected apps.
What agencies use Zapier for
The vendor does not publish a page of agency uses in the pages read, so the examples here are limited to what its integrations pages show. They list app pages for project and work management tools, among them Asana, Basecamp and Airtable, and Autotask. An agency can use them to move a client request from a form into a task board, or to post a message when a status changes.
The Team plan adds shared Zaps and folders, shared app connections and SAML single sign-on, which suit an agency where several people build and maintain automations for client accounts.
Zapier pricing
Plans are priced by the number of tasks a month, where a task is an action a Zap completes. The page offers a task selector from 100 to 2 million a month and shows a starting price for each paid plan, in US dollars.
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Main limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 100 tasks a month, two-step Zaps |
| Professional | From $19.99 a month | From $29.99 a month | Multi-step Zaps, unlimited premium apps |
| Team | From $69 a month | From $103.50 a month | Shared Zaps, SAML SSO, priority support |
| Enterprise | On request | On request | Annual task limits, advanced admin controls |
The vendor says paying yearly saves 33%. A new account is enrolled in a free 14-day trial of the Professional plan with no credit card needed, and the Team and Enterprise trials are arranged through sales.
What it connects to
The home page says Zapier reaches more than 9,000 apps and 66,000 triggers and actions. Zapier MCP connects AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor to those apps, and the vendor says more than 230 AI tools work with it. Every paid plan includes unlimited app integrations and Zaps.
Limits to know before you buy
Tasks, not Zaps, are the limit. The vendor emails the account at the task limit. With pay-per-task billing turned on, Zaps keep running at a higher per-task rate than the plan’s own. Live chat support starts at the Professional 2,000-task tier, and priority support belongs to the Team and Enterprise plans.
The vendor’s own pages disagree on Team users: the plan card says 25 users and the FAQ says unlimited users on Team and Enterprise, so no figure is given here. The Free plan polls for new data every 15 minutes, against two minutes on Professional and one on higher plans.
Plans and prices as published on the vendor’s own pricing page on 3 October 2026; check there before you buy. This is not a paid listing and Online Agency Network is not affiliated with the vendor.
