Best Agencies in the United Kingdom
In November 2026, Online Agency Network lists 41 agencies in the United Kingdom. Of the 28 that name the industries they work in, the most named are IT & Technology (5), Nonprofit (5) and Fashion & Retail (4). Of the 39 that give a founding year, half were founded in 2008 or earlier. None carries the Verified badge yet.
Post one brief. Matching agencies in the United Kingdom reply to you.
Agencies marked Verified have been checked against four things: that the business trades under the name given, that its contact details resolve to it, that the services claimed match demonstrable work, and that the stated minimum budget reflects real engagements. The others are listed from their own websites and have not been checked yet.
Listings are ordered by membership placement, then by OAN Score. Membership does not affect the score itself. Tier is not one of its inputs, so placement cannot buy a better number. Read the full method.

How to choose an agency in the United Kingdom
Narrow this list by what you need a UK agency for. If you want meetings in person, filter by city. If you only need UK law, pounds and UK working hours, filter by service and sector and ignore the city. As of October 2026 the listings are in Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, London and Manchester.
The listings are compiled from each agency’s own website, and a basic listing shows two services, so the services you see are a headline and not the whole menu. The split in the card at the top of the page counts which services UK listings offer most, and it updates as agencies are published. Few listings show video, app development or influencer work.
Price is the question the websites answer least. Of the first 12 UK agency websites read, in early October 2026, one publishes a rate, a day rate in pounds plus VAT. None states a minimum budget or a contract length. Ask each agency for a range before the first call, and ask whether a quote includes VAT, which an agency registered for it adds to its fees.
Contracts need a check that depends on where the agency sits. The UK has three legal systems, those of England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, so the governing-law clause tells you which one applies, and an agency in Edinburgh is in Scotland. Read agency contracts before you sign, whichever city the agency is in.
If you are abroad, the UK keeps its own hours. From the United States an agency here is several hours ahead, so calls fall in your morning. If no UK agency fits, look wider: Europe adds agencies in Ireland and the Netherlands, and the United States lists agencies that quote in dollars. Services with the most listings have their own pages, such as SEO agencies in the UK and PPC agencies in the UK.
An agency that has not claimed its listing is marked, and its listing shows what its own site said, not what it has confirmed. How the Verified badge is awarded is spelled out. To skip the search, post a brief and let agencies come to you.
Common questions about agencies in the United Kingdom
Which UK cities have agencies listed?
As of October 2026 the listings are in Bristol, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Leeds, London and Manchester. Each city has its own page, and the filters on this page narrow the list by service, sector, team size and minimum budget. The list grows as more agencies are published, so check the city pages for the current set.
Do UK agencies publish their prices?
Rarely. Of the first 12 UK agency websites read, in early October 2026, one publishes a rate, a day rate in pounds plus VAT, and none states a minimum budget. Most ask you to get in touch. Ask each agency for a range before a call, so you can tell whether the work is within your budget.
Does a UK agency’s quote include VAT?
Check each time. VAT is a UK sales tax that an agency registered for it adds to its fees, and the one UK site read that publishes a rate states it plus VAT. Ask for quotes with VAT shown separately, so you compare agencies on the same basis.
Which law governs a contract with a UK agency?
The law named in the contract governs it. The UK has three legal systems, those of England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, so the clause matters even inside the UK. If you are outside the UK, it may not be your own country’s law. Have a lawyer read any significant contract.
