  • Idea Marketing Group

    Idea Marketing Group

Idea Marketing Group is a Chicago web design and marketing agency that says it started on 15 July 2009. It sold its office building in 2022 and works remotely, and says CloudMellow acquired it in 2023. Its stated focus is consumer goods and manufacturing brands. The case studies and portfolio filters also show food and beverage, restaurants and a Chicago nonprofit.

It builds only on WordPress and says it does not use templates or page builders. Its site lists a website roadmap, an SEO strategy, content, UX and UI, and custom development with APIs and databases. It also sells website support, hosting for sites it built, Google Ads management, monthly SEO and content plans, and marketing audits. It says it has been a certified Google partner since 2009.

Unusually, it publishes its rates. All work is billed at $180 an hour, rising to $350 for rush work within 24 business hours. Website builds start at $35,000. SEO and content plans start at $2,450 a month, ad management at $475 a month per channel plus the click budget, and analytics plans at $285 a month. Its rates page says marketing plans carry a separate one-time planning fee. Support packs are blocks of hours at discounted rates that expire after a year.

It does not support Wix, Squarespace, Drupal or Joomla, and its managed hosting is sold only for sites it built. Case studies on its site cover Phil Stefani Signature Restaurants, Superior Beverage, Carmex, a sports gear maker and the nonprofit BPI Chicago. The contact page lists a phone number and a Michigan Avenue address, and it offers a booking step after the quote form. Ask who owns the site code if you leave, and what the planning fee is.

  • Atomic Smash

    Atomic Smash

Atomic Smash improves websites that already exist. The Bristol agency has traded since 2010 and works on WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify sites, usually ones another agency built, for a monthly fee. It calls its method Always Evolving, a trademarked name for continuous delivery. Its FAQ answers why it does not build new websites by saying that steady improvement usually costs less than a rebuild.

The work its site lists is design and development changes, user experience and accessibility, and technical search optimisation to sit beside a client’s own SEO. It also lists links to payment gateways and CRM systems, site speed, Google Analytics 4 set-up and conversion roadmaps. It says nothing is outsourced, and gives its team as 13 people. Clients get a pod: a client partner, developers, a designer, an insights specialist and a QA engineer, who speak with the client every week or two and hold quarterly workshops.

Its case studies are mostly charities, visitor attractions and publishers, with some WooCommerce and Shopify shops. Named clients include the Centre for Sustainable Energy, SS Great Britain, The Grand Appeal charity for Bristol Children’s Hospital and the tax consultancy ForrestBrown.

The studies report results in their own terms. One reports a 61% rise in a performance score for ForrestBrown, another 79.27% less carbon per page visit for the energy charity, and a third a conversion target met in one week. The about page lists WooCommerce’s WooExperts accreditation from 2022 and Certified B Corp status from 2023.

Fees are published. The FAQ gives a day rate of £950 plus VAT and says clients typically need two to eight days a month, set during the sales process with options for each budget. Contract length and notice period are not stated on the pages read, nor what onboarding costs. Ask for both in writing.

  • Class

    Class

Class is a Birmingham digital agency that builds websites, platforms, apps and digital design systems. It says it has worked since 2010 for more than 350 organisations, with an in-house team, and describes itself as relationship-driven. The contact page puts the office five minutes’ walk from New Street Station.

Its services page splits the work into four steps: plan, design, build and improve. Planning is stakeholder workshops, audience research and usability testing. Design covers responsive websites and design systems. Build is bespoke WordPress sites, customer portals, internal platforms and an AI site search product called Signal. After launch it offers hosting, maintenance, security and conversion rate optimisation. Its toolkit also lists pay-per-click campaigns, and a 2023 news post describes a pay-per-conversion model in place of a flat management fee.

The work it shows leans towards food and hospitality, property and large consumer brands. A news post from August 2024 says Bidfood renewed a multi-year contract that began in 2022, and that it has worked on SnowDome’s website since 2016 and Edgbaston’s since 2015. Case studies cover a WordPress site for the property manager Centrick, a bilingual sign-up platform for Bentley Motors, and a component library for Wimbledon’s website teams. The Bidfood case study reports rises in users, pageviews and visit time, with the figures set as graphics.

It publishes no prices. Its FAQ says cost depends on goals, functionality, design and content, that it sells no fixed packages, and that it gives an estimate. Ask what hosting and support cost after launch, who owns the component code, and how the pay-per-conversion model counts a conversion.

  • Enjoy Digital

    Enjoy Digital

Enjoy Digital is a digital experience and performance marketing agency on The Calls in Leeds. It says it has worked since 2008 and has helped more than 275 brands, and it groups its work into two areas: digital experience and performance marketing. Its sector pages name four: financial services, home improvement, health and lifestyle, and property and places.

Performance marketing is SEO and paid media, where it lists Google Ads, social advertising and programmatic display, and says it is a Google partner. Digital experience covers UX research, web design, conversion rate optimisation and web development. The development page lists Umbraco as its main platform, with Contentful, Sitecore and WordPress also named, and Shopify, Shopify Plus and WooCommerce for ecommerce. The agency says it is an Umbraco Gold Partner.

It lists awards with the year and the body that gave them. Prolific North named it Performance Marketing Agency of the Year in 2025. It won the large PPC campaign category at the UK Agency Awards 2025 for its Hunters work, and Silver for conversion optimisation at the UK Digital Excellence Awards 2026 for Brompton. Its Northern Trains case study reports its own results from experimentation work, and the work page also lists EweMove, Valspar and House of Rohl.

No prices, minimum budget or contract length are published, and the contact page holds a form and the office address. Ask how the team splits time between strategy and delivery, and whether paid media is charged as a fee or a share of spend. Ask how a conversion test is judged a success, because its case study quotes a success rate against an industry average.
